Russia–Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum

The first-ever Russia–Africa Summit and Economic Forum were held in Sochi in October 2019, with the second Russia–Africa Summit and Economic and Humanitarian Forum held in St. Petersburg in July 2023. They served as a testament to the commitment Russia and Africa share to meeting the challenges of the 21st century together by expanding the exchange of technology and trade in knowledge and expertise.

The Economic and Humanitarian Forum planned for 28–29 October 2026 as part of the third Russia–Africa Summit will continue along the course plotted for the comprehensive development of relations between Russia and Africa as an authoritative platform for developing practical solutions capable of strengthening the multifaceted partnership. As in previous years, the open discussions of the Forum business programme will seek to address the most important issues facing Russian-African cooperation, such as trade, investment, cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy, the development of payment systems, digitalization, and food security.

Government officials will be joined at the Forum by the representatives of international organizations, business and financial circles, and the scientific and expert communities in Russia and Africa.
